Campaign objective:
Jamberoo Action Park is the largest family-owned and operated water theme park in NSW, offering world-class rides and attractions in an impeccably maintained natural setting between the mountains and the sea.
Jamberoo Action Park was looking to achieve a similar level of reach and frequency as it enjoyed pre-COVID. The Nine Plus team devised a tailored TV campaign focused on the Today Show broadcasting the weather report, a live cross from Jamberoo Action Park hosted by the Today weather presenter, Tim Davies. In addition, a 15-second TV commercial was produced to complete the in-program exposure. Lastly, an advertising campaign across Nine’s TV channels and video on demand platform, 9Now, was also implemented.
Campaign outcome:
As a result of this TV campaign Jamberoo had an influx of visitors, with their overall sales results for the peak period up by 35% on the figure budgeted for, which was based on a relatively strong 2018-19 season. January sales figures and park visitation numbers were the strongest in the past five years.
